EHS Officer

Ensure to implement company EHS systems and rules on designated facilities to
offer a safe and efficient working environment.
The EHS Officer coordinate all Health and Safety and environmental matters in
ordnance with the company's policy, procedures and guidelines, along with
maintaining all associated systems and documentation F
The incumbent must possess strong theoretical Knowledge as well as practical
hands on experience with health, safety and environmental systems
The incumbent has the responsibility to ensure that all health and safety and
environmental targets are achieved whilst maintaining a ZERO incident safety
culture.
‎1. Deploy Eaton's EHS (MESH) Corporate and Regulatory requirements.
‎2. Maintain all health and safety systems and standards on an ongoing basis
ensuring that new best practices are implemented through the designated areas.
‎3. Conduct regular safety walks and feedback to department managers on
improvements identified to reduce risk in the designated facilities.
‎4. Conduct regular risk assessment throughout the required facilities
‎5. Ensure that all identified Safety Improvement Opportunities (SIO) are
correctly tracked, actioned and closed out.
‎6. Monitor all personal in the workplace on safety rules implementation
‎7. Participate on Accident/Incident and Near misses investigations
‎8. Ensure all EHS report requirements are submitted on time as per the
required deadline
‎9. Conduct EHS training for the shop floor personnel
‎10. Assist on EHS systems documentations and maintain EHS documents files
‎11. Perform daily EHS inspections on MESH (EHS) implementations to ensure the
deployment of the Corporate and Regulatory requirements
‎12. Ensure contractors are working safely as per the approved work permit.

Qualifications

• Health and Safety qualification Required .


• Minimum of ‎2 Years of experience in a similar industry.


• Experience with low voltage electrical equipment and metal fabrication is preferable


• Good understanding of Microsoft office product range
