The Job Opportunity
This role is critical to ensuring that KPI’s related to the raising of WO’s,
reactive maintenance requests and planning are analysed and achieved. The
performance and cost monitoring processes that are incorporated within the
development of the MPT will be designed to deliver optimised whole life costs
for each asset, whilst asset replacement will be designed to maintain and
where possible, improve system safety, performance and operations.
This role will ensure continuous availability and system improvement of the
identified Maximo Maintenance Management System (MMS) and to manage the
effective coordination between the O&M; functional areas and sections,
enabling the timely planning and reporting of all engineering works, utilizing
the MMS as the centralized planning tool.
We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills, detail
oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. He/She should be
highly motivated and flexible to be able to work in a time-sensitive
environment and respond quickly and effectively to unanticipated high
workloads, events and emergencies.
Key accountabilities
Responsible for the planning and management of TFM Service Provider’s
workflows, continuous Maximo system implementation and verification /
validation of TFM Service Providers Annual Maintenance Plans / PPMs / Cleaning
Regimes.
Analyse, update and approve TFM Service Provider’s proposed PPM regimes for
all aspects of the Ops & Maintenance scope of works
Provide regular preventative maintenance demand reports for planning and
scheduling purposes
Lead Service Provider’s in managing a programme of MMS Work Order reduction,
and provide regular reports on the current WO status within the MMS database;
Using the MMS as the centralized planning tool, deliver a monthly engineering
works plan to Serco’s TFM Ops Lead which details all approved preventative and
corrective maintenance engineering works to be undertaken across the airport
within the following month
Using the MMS as the centralized planning tool, deliver a weekly update
detailing the weekly amendments to the monthly engineering works plan
Manage the implementation of new functionalities within the MMS, to improve
the planning, execution and reporting capability
What we are looking for in our candidates:
Ability to understand complex systems and learn new software based
applications;
Maximo development and implementation skills, obtained through specific system
application training and experience
Highly motivated and flexible to be able to work in a time-sensitive
environment and respond quickly and effectively to unanticipated high
workloads, events and emergencies
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage
multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-
oriented environment
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle
multiple priorities
Specific requirements
Requires a diploma / certificate of post secondary education in an
engineering, numerical or business related discipline
Requires specialized Maximo administration training and specialized Maximo
implementation training
Excellent numerical and PC skills including the use of MS Office (Excel, Word,
Access Database etc), Maintenance Management System (MMS)
Ability to understand complex systems and learn new software based
applications
Maximo development and implementation skills, obtained through specific system
application training and experience
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage
multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-
oriented environment
A minimum of 3 years work experience within the system elements of a
Maintenance Management System, utilizing IBM Maximo
Knowledge of the implementation of the maintenance planning workflows within
an airport Maximo system gained through experience in Maximo implementation
(preferable)
Previous preparation of maintenance procedures and instructions, training
material and safety and quality plans and procedures
Understanding of the type of engineering components typically found within an
international airport (preferable)
