Head of Technology - KSA Branch

Reporting to the Regional CIO, the head of IT for KSA will be responsible for
oversight and management of all IT services delivered within or for the KSA
branch. We are rapidly expanding our business within the Middle East region
and opening a branch within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to go deep within that
market. The Head of IT will be directly accountable for a small team of
service desk analysts supporting the local branch staff and have matrix
management accountability for infrastructure and application services provided
to the branch by Cigna Group.

Core responsibilities:
Provides a relationship management role with internal/external service
providers to the IT organization.

Oversees management of all IT services within the branch to ensure business
SLAs are met.

Responsible for creation of local process/procedures to manage local IT
services, including creating and tracking hardware and software inventory,
creating centralized contract main file, determining contractual and financial
exposure, and negotiating contracts.

Participates in development of new services mission, goals, and objectives.

Acts as the business agent for the IT organization to negotiate pricing and
determine contract terms and conditions.

Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and experience to set departmental
goals which align with functional strategy.

Ensure the local IT support team follows best practices and maintain service
level agreements with business.

Ensures effective and efficient day to day operation with adherence to
Request, Incident, Problem and Change Management processes and procedures
within timeframes set by severity levels

Prepare regular monthly reports of KPIs, SLAs & team performance metrics to
the stakeholders

Maintains relationships with technology, software, security, telecommunication
providers & Cloud vendors

Perform vendor contract review meetings to ensure delivery against objectives
and SLAs. Inform internal stakeholders & vendors/partners on management of
activities, progress and track performance through regular written and verbal
communication.

Perform regular risk assessment with in IT Service Operations and develop
mitigation plans.

Focuses on achievement of departmental goals and plays a significant part in
achieving functional goals.

Essential:
Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent or a related discipline

Minimum of ‎5 years' experience as a Manager in the Technology space

Experience working in Insurance or financial services domain

Experience mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues, to continue to
grow and develop your colleagues within the organization
