The opportunity
The purpose of this role is to lead Mace's Cost Consultancy service offer in
KSA, creating an environment that promotes our pro-active approach to cost
consultancy, builds upon our existing capability and helps establish us as a
leading independent cost consultancy practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing leadership to both our clients and the in-country cost team and being the face of Mace with all KSA clients in relation to cost consultancy.
* Developing new and existing client relationships and opportunities.
* Developing and maintaining a consistent pipeline of new cost consultancy opportunities.
* Recruiting, training and developing highly technical people to support the goal of technical excellence.
* Promoting effective communication both within the team and with clients.
* Managing and liaising with the head of the cost consultancy to agree with the in-country strategic direction for cost consultancy.
* Being accountable for QAQC of the team deliverables and ensuring that best practice is implemented, whilst working closely with the specialist knowledge hub to make sure that we work in a smart and efficient manner.
* Promoting the RICS internally and externally and actively encouraging and supporting training and development of the team to reach chartered status.
* Preparing bids in conjunction with the bid team to showcase our capability and lead the presentation
* of our proposed offer to clients.
* Being accountable for briefing the team on the scope and ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly understood.
* Delegating tasks to the lowest levels possible to drive a culture of empowerment and responsibility
* Being an active participant in the Middle East and India cost consultancy senior leadership team
* Supporting and sustaining Mace's core values and culture.
* Promoting the highest standards of safety, health and wellbeing across the team.
About you
With a relevant degree qualification, you will take personal development
seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional
qualification.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead
strong, motivated teams. You must have experience in programme or project
management equating quality and value with the individual client and be hungry
to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
