Seureca, is the consultancy arm of the Veolia Group, the world leader in
Environmental services and ecological transformation. Seureca is involved
currently in a Technical Assistance project to Support the Ministry of
Municipalities, Rural Affairs and Housing (MOMRAH), in Saudi Arabia, in
improving the level of services of the Municipal Solid Waste management across
the Kingdom.
We are looking for a Financial Expert to join our project team in Riyadh (6
International Experts + 6 Local Engineers) to take part of this advisory
project. The duration of the contract is 12 months on an
in country and full-time basis. The objective of the project is to develop and
initiate the implementation of a roadmap for improving the waste Management
services and to build a team within the ministry capable of managing the
implementation of the developed initiatives.
The role of the Financial Expert is to:
* lead the workstream related to enabling investments in the Municipal Waste Management
sector
* Identify opportunities for the private sector participation and providing guidance on how to
translate the opportunities into viable projects.
* Identify private investments enablers and provide guidance on how to activate these
enablers
* Assist MOMRAH in engaging with the relevant stakeholders in order to facilitate the
implementation of PPP schemes in the Municipal Waste Management sector
* Analyze the financial performance of current waste management contracts and identify
opportunities for savings
* Contribute to the other workstreams where the financial expertise would be needed
* Provide on the training (on the job or through dedicated sessions) and mentoring to the
Saudi engineers, part of the project team, but also to the MOMRAH and
Municipalities staff
under the capacity building workstream
Seureca is looking for a Financial Expert with :
* a minimum Master's degree in Finance and Business Administration
* minimum of 15 years working experience, including working experience in the Middle East and experience in Solid Waste Management will be adding advantage.
