The role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager - Internal who will be
responsible for working closely with the Country Manager in managing and
developing SJ's operations within Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in line with the
organisation's strategic directions, business plan and financial targets.
The candidate will be a role model of the SJ values, ethics and code of
conduct and all aspects of this position carried out according to these
guiding principles.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Operations management for KSA office and project site offices
* Business strategy development and implementation aimed at establishing new markets within KSA for SJ's services.
* Lead, motivate and manage the potential SJ KSA team. Develop and maintain core skills in KSA to help ensure that service delivery can be sustained in a manner consistent with current and future role of SJ in KSA.
* Achieve annual fees and contribution targets for KSA and maintain overheads within budget.
* Identify and establish new markets within KSA for SJ's services in line with the organisation's strategic directions.
* Participate in contract negotiations with clients.
* Identify key clients and build and maintain effective relationships with these clients.
* Identify partners and local consultants, and build strategic alliance with them to facilitate the winning and implementation of projects.
* Liaison with clients/associates
Applicants should have/be:
* Track record of achievement in a similar role.
* Minimum 10 years international experience in an engineering design consultancy
* Degree in Engineering or related business course in a reputable university
* Deep working knowledge of the engineering consulting industry in KSA. Across trends and other market developments.
* Demonstrated experience in project management and contract management.
* Able to undertake extensive travel (domestic and international)
* Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written.
