Position Overview :

This position is responsible for the efficient operation of the following
activities:
Maintain all aspects of assigned financial account segments, including
gathering data for preparation of detailed schedules and reports as required;

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all assigned account reconciliations are completed monthly and any
required corrections are completed in the current month;
Examine a variety of recording and reporting documents to verify accuracy and
conformance with specific functional, corporate, contract, government, or
professional accounting requirements;
Support internal and external audits.
Coordinate with Admin - Physical filing of Payment batches
Receives, scans, transmits and tracks AP invoices for processing by Shared
Service centres.
Prepare local payment instructions and circulate for review and approval.
Petty Cash custodian and prepare supporting transaction documents and
replenishment forms.
Prepare journal entries in Oracle12 and ensure business conformity of
accounts.
Prepare Arabic translations of ledgers as per statutory requirements.
Receives, scans, transmits and tracks vendor invoices for processing by Shared
Service centres
Prepare local payment instructions and circulate for review and approval.

In the performance of the above activities, shall ensure strict adherence to
company policies and procedures. Comply with due dates associated with all
assigned tasks, and give early warnings of problems with meeting these due
dates.

Shall also ensure that candidate leads by example, promotes teamwork at every
occasion, respects colleagues' opinions, openly contributes at meetings, does
not accept status quo, and upholds fair and ethical behavior with customers in
compliance with Bechtel's business ethics code.

Basic Qualifications and Skills :
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related course study
* ‎2-‎5 years of experience in a comparable accounting position
* Understanding of Accounting concepts such Accruals, Prepayments, Accounting system and Basic Knowledge of financial reporting standards.
* Extensive knowledge of accounting standards (SOCPA / IFRS) and financial reporting methods.
* Candidate must be a Saudi national
* Candidate must be a registered member of SABCO
Additional Qualifications :
* Knowledge of statutory accounting processes in Saudi
* Able to interface at various levels of an organization
* Intermediate English language skills in oral and written communications, MS Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel).
