Saudi Arabia - Middle Office - Analyst


Middle Office team is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst candidate whose main
responsibility will be to support Treasury Front Office with cash management
and the production of Profit and Loss & Risk. The candidate will possess a
financial mindset and appreciation for complex system flows and controls
necessary to ensure their accuracy.


Working within CIB Operations, you will ensure the business' dynamic
environment is well supported and properly controlled. Your role will require
interaction with many internal stakeholder groups all having different
priorities, focus and terminology. It is necessary to balance a co-operative
and responsive approach with a rigorous understanding of basic controls and
the requirement for independence.


Cash Management:
* Provide accurate position forecasts for SAR and other foreign currencies to front office traders.
* Track and communicate major changes in positions to Front and Back office.
* Manage flow control on SARIE clearing system.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies between front and back-office systems.
* Facilitate and oversee the accurate and timely settlement of Money Market and Fixed Income Security transactions.
* Manage complex operational and settlement problems.


Profit and Loss Reporting, Risk Management, Reconciliation:
* Prepare PnL and Risk reporting for FO.
* Perform month-end PnL reconciliation and work closely with Finance Controllers to ensure proper reconciliation of PnL & Balance Sheet.
* Perform various control reconciliation/reporting to ensure integrity and accuracy of all feeds.
* End to end control of Treasury products.


Other Key Responsibilities:
* Support local and international trading desks with commodity Murabaha documentation to exchange with clients.
* Review Broker & Third-Party billing charges.
* Support any regulatory, tax, compliance, and/or audit requests in a timely manner.
* Work closely with Product partners on new business initiatives and process improvements.
* Ensure full compliance of operational controls, global corporate bank principles, corporate policies, and local regulations.
* Identify improvements and leverage available toolsets (Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau, and Excel) to own and implement changes through to completion.
* Manage projects and conduct User Acceptance Testing for enhancements to current systems or migration to new systems.
Qualifications:

* A minimum of ‎1 year experience in a financial institution working in operations/PnL reporting/product control/financial accounting/risk management role.
* Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* Good knowledge in Fixed Income and Treasury products.
* Fluent in English (written & spoken), Arabic would be a plus.
* Strong technical skills (particularly in MS Excel).
* Good communication skills, robust and credible partner with all stakeholders
* Keen learner with drive, enthusiasm, and ability to motivate others.
* Strong control and quality management skills; accuracy and attention to detail is vital.
* Strong analytical skills including the ability to complete data investigations and summarize findings in a clear and meaningful way.
