Job Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
To assist in the technical management and coordination of the relocation of
380kV Overhead Transmission Lines within the project limits from above to
below ground. Relocation works will be undertaken by the Saudi Electrical
Company (SEC) and must be fully coordinated with the project masterplan,
technical design and the projects contractors.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be required to assist in the coordination between SEC and the
projects designers to ensure all technical and programme issues are addressed
and clashes avoided, easements respected and SEC design and construction works
progress per programme.
With your technical expertise, you will be able to foresee risks and propose
technical mitigations to avoid programme risks through provision of technical
guidance.
You will review and comment on technical drawings (etc.) for high-voltage
electrical works including sub-stations and networks.
You will make site inspections and report on and assist in resolution of
technical issues.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of
related work experience. Professional Engineer registration may be required.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Able to understand complex electrical engineering issues and expert knowledge
of SEC regulations and requirements for high-voltage networks and sub-
stations.
