About the Opportunity:Robust infrastructure establishes the backbone of
productive, economically strong communities as assets essential to commerce,

Due to our continued growth in the region Jacobs is hiring a Project Controls
Engineer in Riyadh. Working closely with the Project Management team you be
responsible for supporting all aspects of the project controls function.
Responsibilities include:
* Support and provide oversight and review of the Consultant's/Contractor's planning and scheduling of the assigned projects including Consultant/Contractor's staff plans and manpower histograms and project progress measurement, etc.
* Apply all planning and scheduling techniques as appropriate in accordance with the approved Project Controls/Execution Plan
* Ensure that the Project Controls Systems provide the best possible control tools for the supervisory staff on the project to allow them to control their work efficiently
* Maintain up to date knowledge of planning software and techniques as used on the contract and ensure as well that the staff maintain their skill and knowledge
* Ensure that the project manager, construction manager and other stakeholders are aware of any potential threats to completion on schedule, and to propose remedial action
* Ensure that planning staff are identified, recruited, trained and assign who are competent, experienced and cost effective
* Appraise performance of subordinates and identify / implement training and development needs
* Establish and promote good working relations with his team, project staff and the customer
* Develop staffing plan and execution for the project organization to ensure resource is available
* Prepare internal and client weekly and monthly project status reports
* Review of EPC contractor schedules and programmes
Here 's What You'll Need:
* Previously worked within a Project Controls or Planning capacity
* Experience working on major infrastructure projects
* Have a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent
* Minimum of ‎8 years' experience
* Experience across the full project lifecycle with respect to planning, cost, and schedule control
* Good understanding of the design process and construction methodologies
* Experienced user of Primavera P6
* Consultancy experience is highly beneficial
