Responsibilities
* Effectively and efficiently manage the processing of required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimizing costs where possible and ensure the required best working practices are maintained at all times.
* Responsible for processing production, financial performance, meeting customer requirements and maintaining the productive operation of planned activities.
* Ensure the target productivity level is achieved on a daily basis.
* Drive process improvements by appropriate data analysis and working on identified deficiencies.
* Attend various meetings with the different functions based on business need and work requirements. Produce a written processing reports and make presentations for management.
* Undertake continuous training and development.
* Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
* Work as a part of project delivery teams for all processing related projects.
* Managing the daily manufacturing meeting.
* Manage the milk and cream, & to communicate with planning for any related risks.
* Developing the WIP area and managing the materials from receiving to production.
* Managing the new initiatives & NPDs operational requirements in processing and reports all the requirements for successful completion of new introduced products.
* Contribute to the development and management of industrial KPI's.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
* Ensure an effective interface with other departmental staff is maintained.
* Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers, and other service providers.
* Work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with internal strategy.
* Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact.
* Full accountability on departmental safety, customer's quality, cost, and delivery requirements are to be met.
* Ensure that all subordinates have clear objectives, constructive and accurate performance feedback sessions formal annual performance appraisals, and individual development plans.
* Adhere with direction for the development and implementation of organizational unit's policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement to ensure efficient and effective operation.
* Comply with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Food Technology or Management.
* Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
* Should have knowledge and can apply modern management tools like Fishbone, Pareto diagram and should have knowledge of 7 QC tools
