Job Description
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Development Executive to
take on a role in contributing to the growth and developing the growing of our
portfolio of customised training solutions for Informa Saudi Arabia Ltd.
The focus of this role is to develop strategic relationships with corporates
and government institutions alike, to align our services and solutions to the
ever-evolving learning and development needs of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
* Actively secure and develop relationships with key organisations
* Become a trusted advisor for key stakeholders on internal capability projects
* Drive business development activities, including the upsell/integration of new products and services
* Support the project delivery team from needs assessment to successful execution
* Build and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with new and existing clients
* Actively promote Informa 's reputation with all stakeholders, whilst increasing profitability and meeting set business development objectives
* Be a trusted advisor for our key clients whilst growing market share
* Functional activities include:
* holding client meetings to understand business challenges
* framing and presenting appropriate learning solutions
* working with our existing trainer and talent pool to develop new opportunities
* building compelling tender responses and business proposals to recap client needs and our learning proposition
* manage project budgets
* meet targets and objectives, manage and develop own sales pipeline and maintain / update Salesforce / CRM
* Build your knowledge on the latest learning trends and learning delivery innovation
* Build your knowledge on consultative sales trends and practice
* Be an outstanding team player
Success will be measured against quarterly and annual revenue and gross profit
targets, with an additional focus on exceptional client feedback and
maintaining exemplary relationships with our clients, trainers / subject
matter experts.
Qualifications
* English AND Arabic to a business level, spoken and written is a MUST
* A good understanding of the learning services sector
* Minimum 2+ years of (B2B) solutions sales or equivalent L&D experience
* Some experience of creating proposals, responding to RFPs and delivering pitches / client presentations
* Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office programmes, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
* Working knowledge of salesforce.com is beneficial
* Educated to degree level or equivalent is desired, but can be overlooked for the right experience
* Financially numerate / competent
* Excellent communicator
