MAIN PURPOSE
To ensure that all boutiques and point of sales have a reliable supply of
finished goods, and coordinate the distribution of finished goods, POS
materials and other materials to all brands through the appointed service
providers. As Logistics executive, you will focus on meeting brands demand and
minimizing the costs of storing and transporting goods. You will handle the
projects and provide all logistics support, such as events, products launch
and new boutiques opening. To implement and be responsible on meeting the
relevant KPIs and evaluate the performance and objectives achievement for all
logistics service providers and assure that all company logistics activities
are validated by the group compliance and comply with regulations of the local
authorities.
LOGISTICS OPERATIONS
* To monitor and track all the import, export and domestics shipments and liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to assure that deliveries are done within the agreed lead-time
* Set the monthly logistics activity key dates with all brands supply planners and apply the cut-off dates
* Manage the daily reports from the service providers and do the analyses and fix the reported issues in timely manner
* Build and maintain the logistics database and generate the weekly and monthly logistics cockpit reports for the logistics activities.
* Manage the discrepancies incidents reported by the services providers as per the company's regulations
* Be UP-TO-DATE for the government new regulations and update the relevant logistics operations SOPs
* To get the needed approvals from customs to facilitate the company import and export operations
* Assure that all payment made to customs are validated and keep records for all relevant financial transactions in terms of customs duty calculations and VAT
PROJECTS & EVENT MANAGEMENT
* Liaising with brands and suppliers, handling logistics activity, offer the needed support to brands to achieve the event's objectives
* Be responsible on getting the required approvals from customs and handle all the relevant activities such as; temporary admission approvals, customs deposit, refunds, archiving
* Managing budgets if required, ensure that charges are allocated to the correct cost centre.

* Managing risk by creating the Logistics concept for the event in coordination with security and group compliance
* Presenting post-event reports
COMPLIANCE & SERVICE EXCELLANCY
* Ensures that logistics functions are in a legal and ethical manner
* Be responsible for developing logistics compliance programs, for brand, service providers and boutiques staff
* Coordinate with Logistics compliance department to reviewing the local policies, and update the SOPs
* Advising management on possible risks and send regular messages to all concerned on the government and policies, regulatory updates.
* Conduct investigations related to logistics incidents and report result to management
* Ensure that all safety and security measures are in place within all logistics activities.
VENDOR MANAGEMENT
* Working closely with vendor and maintaining clear and strong business relationship with all service providers, follow up their payments and ensuring payments are made in timely manner.
* Conduct frequent meetings with all service providers and re-negotiate the rates based on business development and requirement.
* Evaluating performance and conduct awareness sessions with key vendors on group compliance and updated polices
* Monitor the vendor direct and indirect cost and conduct relevant cost studies

Educational Background
Bachelor degree/ high diploma in Business administration or other operational
relevant field
Technical/Work-based Skills or specific knowledge (Must Have) Arabic - English
fluency in speaking & writing Computer skills and knowledge of MS Software
Knowledge of local customs regulations
Experience
3-6 years logistics experience
