Responsible for assignments, duties and participation in training activities
and departmental, work projects in accordance with the Training Plan's goals
and objectives
1. Participates in all program activities, training courses, seminars,
departmental orientation and individual/group counselling sessions.
2. Undergoes general Hospital orientation. Reads and learns Hospital
policies, goals, objectives, administrative procedures and organization.
Acquires knowledge of overall patient care and services.
3. Follows previously developed plan of action. Participates in department;
rotational assignment.
4. Observes and participates in department work activities after completing
2/3rd of the training period and before he can undertake and completes work
assignment. Participates in improving departmental operations.
5. Meets regularly with SCDP coordinator and department heads for guidance,
feedback and self-assessment assistance. Identifies areas of interest and
evaluates learning experience.
6. Functions as trainee and regular staff member during extended departmental
rotational assignments. Continue regular meetings with department head and
counselling sessions. Attends specialized training classes.
7. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
8. Participates as self & other's education, training & development as
applicable.
Education**
Grade 45 up to 5: Intermediate school education
Grade 6: High school education: to be enrolled in affiliated program or
established Hospital program.
Grade 7: High school education plus 2 years college/diploma (IPA)/Associate
degree (up to 3 years after High School)
Grade 8: Bachelor' degree from an accredited college/University.
This is an entry-level position, requiring 0-2 years ' experience, although a
candidate may have more than (2) years' experience.

Note: Assignment of the trainee to the above grades shall be less or equal to
the grade of the target position
Newly hired employees who will be enrolled in the allied health programs, will
be hired according to the admission requirement of the program.
