Job Description & Role:
The BI and Reporting Specialist will support strategic program delivery. The
BI and Reporting Specialist is an accomplished business analyst, proactive
customer-focused advocate, a team player with Business Intelligence and
reporting experience.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Provide Business Intelligence and strategic planning subject matter expertise on projects performance data and KPIs.
* Collects and updates program performance data, prepares and analyzes historical and predictive measures, and reviews results and recommendations with program manager and program leads.
* Develop plans for optimizing the BI platforms by determining how best to use existing data analytics, architecture, and technology, and where to make improvements.
* Clearly and professionally communicate with client and management in gathering requirements and identifying impediments.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to PMO staff on best practices in Business Intelligence.
* Help up skill the PMO members who have an interest in developing their capabilities in BI and data analytics.
* Participate in technical and business reviews.

Additional Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or any related field
* Five (5) years of relevant experience
* Very good knowledge of MS Office and BI tools
* Project management training
* Certification in related data technologies or tools is desirable
* Excellent oral and written communication capabilities and techniques (working side-by-side with government counterparts)
* Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
* Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
* Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
* Familiarity with BI architecture concepts and tools, including data architecture, data modeling, ETL tools, and reporting platforms.
* Experience with data and reports migration from EPM
* Experience managing front-end BI tools and building reports and dashboards
* Strong knowledge of BI platforms (e.g. Business Objects, Tableau, Qlik, D3, etc.) and demonstrated ability to implement business intelligence
* Strong conceptual knowledge of project management and PMO dashboards
* Excellent Command of English & Arabic
