  • The CIP (Contract Instructor Pilot) will conduct simulator operations and simulator flight training for the MH-60R aircraft.

  • This training will include but not limited to aircraft systems, operating procedures, tactical employment of the MH-60R aircraft and to include flight briefs and debriefs.

  • The CIP will assist in teaching, updating and maintenance of related curriculum syllabi, which will include but not limited to instructor lesson guides, simulator scenarios, computer-based training, classroom lectures, and other tasks as the CIP MH-60R Flight Simulator Instructor.
    Position Requirements

  • A CIP must be, or have been, a qualified helicopter aircraft commander in the MH-60R command or qualified MH-60R CIP within the preceding (‎5) years, completed at least one operational tour, possess both rotary and fixed wing experience and have a minimum total of ‎1000 flying hours in combination of military or civilian flight time, ‎800 of which must be in model.

  • FRS instructional tour preferred.

  • The applicant must be a US citizen, possess the ability to obtain a US passport. Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a SECRET clearance allowing access to classified information.

  • Requires mental alertness and acute concentration for long periods of time during training scenarios.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time (‎2 hours+), be able to climb ‎2 flights of stairs, to climb open grated ladders for cockpit access, to lift and carry ‎50 pounds is required.

  • Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress at all times.
