Project Financial Controller/Commercial Lead

Job Summary :
The Project Financial Controller/Commercial Lead is a key member of the
Finance team, responsible for managing several processes, topics and
relationships related to the finance department, which includes but not
limited to:
* Deliver twice a year an actualized Estimate at completion (EAC), once as bottom-up, once as top-down
* Support the planning and forecasting for revenue and cash for all assigned projects,
* Management of the sales invoice process for both internal and external customers and for local compliance purposes (including taxation and VAT invoices)
* Ensure that all PO's, SLAs and invoices (internal or external) are properly recorded, filed and reported
* Including but not limited to (‎1) internal reporting of key KPIs such as Order Intake, Revenue, Profit and Cash; (‎2) support cost controlling and (‎3) manage intercompany transactions in close alignment with accounting team
* Provide commercial support to local project teams
* Working closely with project and contract managers, accounting and controlling teams and with related local partners
* Attending customer meetings and representing Airbus as per the delegated authority
* Manage and Establish service level agreements with other entities
* Maintain WHT effects and impacts in general
* Banking: manage and coordinate banking services suppliers, harmonize guarantees and letters of credit in line with Company policies, maintain and improve banking services.
* Ad hoc tasks from the senior finance managers
Person Specifications :
* Financial/Accounting Management degree / Certifications preferred such as PMP, CPA, CIMA, ACCA or ACA equivalent
* Working knowledge and understanding of local taxation rules
* Minimum of ‎5 years of relevant experience in subject matters
* Experience in contract negotiations / commercial discussions with customers
* Experience in project finance controlling
* Excellent communication skills, with experience in the cultural environment of Saudi Arabia or other Arabic countries
* Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic (desired) skills
* High level of integrity to work with highly confidential information
* Flexible / adaptable / enthusiastic / motivated / self-confident
* Excellent use of MS Office, in particular MS Excel
* SAP ERP knowledge is preferable
