We are looking to hiring a Senior Accounting Analyst in the Finance department
who should have prior experience in handling accounting matters in a health
insurance company in Saudi Arabia. This position will report to the CFO
Key Responsibilities
Set up the accounting ledger for the newly established branch of Cigna in KSA.
Post accounting entries to the US parent company ledger.
Set up the feed from the Global Care policy admin system to the Oracle EBS
Set up the feed from TPA system to the Oracle EBS
Build Management Information System for periodic reporting of results to
management including KPI’s and other metrics relevant to the performance of
the business
Creating reports from EBS for reporting and analysis
Providing input for SAMA reporting templates
Liaise with actuary to process reserve entries at end of accounting period
Perform all month end and quarter end close tasks.
Perform aging of receivables and calculate doubtful debts provision
Post IFRS 17 entries and coordinate with internal and external actuary to
obtain the IFRS 17 entries to be posted to the ledger
Manage payables including recording of vendor invoices, claims and fees
payable to TPA
Interact with internal and external auditors
Prepare Financial statements under IFRS 17
Key Skill and Knowledge
Must have experience in accounting under IFRS 17.
Previous experience in insurance company accounting and reporting required.
Knowledge of US GAAP reporting desirable.
Chartered Accountant/CPA or equivalent qualification required with prior
experience in KSA.
