The HR Associate is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department
in various functions such as recruiting, staff development, performance
monitoring, staff relations, benefits administration, and compliance with
regulations. The HR Associate will work closely with other department leaders
to ensure smooth operations and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recruitment and Onboarding
* Assist with job postings and job advertisement processes.
* Screen resumes and applications, and schedule interviews.
* Participate in interviews and selection processes.
* Assist with the onboarding of new employees, ensuring all paperwork is completed and processed.
* Conduct orientation sessions for new hires.
* Benefits Administration
* Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
* Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
* Ensure timely updating and processing of benefits enrollments, terminations, and changes.
* Employee Relations
* Address employee concerns and queries, directing them to appropriate resources or personnel.
* Assist in employee engagement and team-building initiatives.
* Support in resolving conflicts and ensuring a positive work environment.
* Training and Development
* Help coordinate training sessions and seminars.
* Assist in maintaining and updating training materials.
* Track employee training and development activities.
* Compliance and Record Keeping
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
* Assist in the preparation of reports related to personnel activities.
* Performance Management
* Assist in the coordination and administration of performance review processes.
* Track and manage employee probationary periods and performance improvement plans.
* Other Duties
* Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and employment legislation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor 's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* Prior experience in HR is preferred but not mandatory.
* Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
* Excellent organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
