  • Role Responsibilities

    • Work with Head of social media to develop social strategy by compiling and analyzing client research, competitive data and social platform information, and laddering-up the social program to the overarching communication goals.

    • Analyze social monitoring program outputs and determine necessary refinements, while identifying real world application of the monitoring data

    • Plan innovative social media marketing campaigns to deliver brand affinity and increased consumer engagement.

    • Coordinate, create and maintain a social media content calendar for all posts.

    • Schedule and coordinate posts within social media publishing tools channels

    • Develop, plan and execute quarterly hub social media series to grow the client's community across all channels and increase organic engagement and reach.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact with the appointed client social media department/ content creative agencies and manage day-to-day communications and deliverables.

    • Work closely with the marketing campaigns team to manage the development of surrounding social content that is bespoke to each channel.

    • Work closely with the Partnerships Marketing teams to develop a joint social media campaign for the Client's commercial partners.

    • Keep on top of the latest trends and developments across all social media platforms while making sure content developed is tailored to the specific audiences and particularities of the channel.

    • Keep a close eye on community sentiment, trending content, and strategizing with the teams for ways can engage or create quick-turn content to respond

    • Re-purpose social media content for different social media platforms based on a deep understanding of how content is consumed differently on each channel.

    • Assist in developing client's domestic social influencer/creator strategy and work on influencer outreach programmes

    • Partner with markets to activate global initiatives on platforms inclusive of: launch support, Spokes content, and cultural events to help strengthen the Brand's worldwide presence on the platform

    • Gather regular analytics on existing platforms, synthesize them into regular reports while advising on strategies to leverage data for audience growth and continually improving content.

    • Leverage knowledge of best practices in social content to help other teams and partners develop good, creative ideas both proactively and reactively.

    • Through an understanding of the link between content quality and performance, drive continual improvement of social content backed by analytics on social listening, monitoring, measurement of ROI and evaluation

    • Oversee the social community management process

    • Working with the management team to lead strategic relationships with media partners and guide key media discussions

    • Create an effective strategic framework across paid social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat etc.

    • Optimize App strategies for each channel to improve performance and ensure the KPI goals are met.

    • Be hands on in-platform - QA'ing campaign builds, optimizing keyword strategy and monitoring performance.

    • Manage and optimize large media budgets across social platforms and markets to maximize acquisition volume, increase audience reach and retain current members.

    • Find ways to use Social media and content to deepen our relationship with the client's audiences to drive subscriptions, grow digital/social channel footprint, and leverage all organic marketing efforts to reach users in meaningful and engaging ways.

    • Actively report, track and optimize performance of social media campaigns. Make recommendations and provide updates to the Marketing Team.

    • Partner with Data and Insights, Analytics, and Technology to gather data and establish new reports/dashboards.

    • Work closely with platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) and vendors (e.g., agencies) to identify opportunities; understand their best practices and recommendations for improving paid social.




Experience Requirements
* ‎4+ years of concentrated experience with social media channels and deep understanding of digital marketing; proven ability to significantly drive engagement and conversion.
* Deep understanding of the Saudi social media scene, culture, and trends. Working on global social media campaigns for international markets is a plus.
* Strong understanding of social media measurement and insights as well as overall digital analytics
* Proven experience working on influencer marketing campaigns
* Social Media experience within Tourism, FMCG, Retail/Property or hospitality industry is a plus
* A proven track record in agency management and internal stakeholder engagement.
* Excellent project management skills
* Creative thinker who can be both innovative and execution-oriented
* Able to work in an ambiguous, 'internet-speed' environment
* Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence management
* High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
* Excellent team player and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate strong proficiency with systems/tools.
* Possess and demonstrate excellent understanding of social and media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals
* Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Show ability in training and leadership capability.
* Exude an energy level that brings new and exciting ideas to the planning function and motivates teammates.
