Bartender
The Bartender provides hotel guests and servers with quick and efficient
beverage service with a complete working knowledge of all products served by
the bar.
Essential Functions:
* Understand and perform job duties to the expectations of the bar.
* Takes ownership of the bar, knowing the names and preferences of their guests and VIPs, greeting, seating, running etc.
* Executes and facilitates service in cooperation with other Bartenders, servers, and managers.
* Taking and making beverage orders.
* Welcome all guests and ensure guests receive responsive, professional, and gracious service at all times.
* Develops rapport with guests.
* Maintain a clean, safe environment all times in the bar (front bar, back bar, floor).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Detail-oriented and self starter
* Strong customer service skills and emotional intelligence
* Ability to truly connect with guests & staff
* Team player
* Ability to proactively anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest
* Calm composure under pressure
* Product knowledge experts with mocktail, cocktail and mixing techniques
* Excellent people skills by means of a friendly, kind and likeable personality
* Fluent level of English
* Previous hotel or luxury brand experience preferred;
