Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance in accordance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines and IFRS (international financial reporting standards)
* Collaborate with the business units and functional groups on a broad spectrum providing technical accounting guidance and oversight for significant and complex accounting and reporting topics
* Communicate changes related to the reporting and accounting guidelines and help align key accounting processes with the changes
* Review and approve complex journal entries and account reconciliations
* Ensure accuracy of books and record by analyzing and reviewing financial statements as well as drive balance sheet review process and provide remediation and solution
* Coordinate on accounting and reporting issues with Zone/Hub
* Ensure that general accounting processes and function is in adherence to SIEMENS policies and IFRS
* Ensure transactions are recorded in conformance with IFRS and adequate internal controls are in place and in line with Siemens International Chart of Accounts
* Responsible for resolving reporting and closing queries and develop controls to avoid repeated issues
* Responsible for the preparation of local statutory financial statements as per the local requirements as well as tax returns (Corporate Tax, VAT, WHT etc.).
* Support quarterly and yearly external audit process by providing timely information and resolve queries from auditor
* Ensure month end closing process is executed smoothly

Your Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification from reputable institution
* Proven track record of relevant experience in public and non-public (Big ‎4 and industry Fortune ‎500)
* Strong Healthcare -Industrial Sector knowledge in Saudi Arabia or wider region.
* Excellent communication / influencing skills
* Excellent English language is a must & Arabic Language is required
* Expertise in ERM and internal controls
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and impeccable attention to details
* Strong problem-solving skills and the proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities
* Previous experience and responsibility in areas such as supervising, training, and retaining competent accounting staff
