The General Accountant oversees the day to day operations of a full cycle AP
department in KSA, focusing on our KSA operation, managing vendor
relationships and maintaining strong communication and rapport with internal
and external departments.
Working closely with the VICE JAX Financial Director, and the KSA General
Manager, the General Accountant will deliver diligent and thorough accounting
oversight for the VICE JAX business as a whole.
VICE JAX is a joint venture between VICE and MBC Group. JAX Media's primary
directive is to create a leading platform for quality digital Arabic language
content centred on modern culture anchored in Saudi Arabia. While this role
will focus on the delivery of the JAX Media proposition, it should also
support and responsibly represent VICE's growing presence in KSA more broadly.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* 5+ years accountancy experience in a relevant industry and business environment
* Ad hoc projects as assigned
* Look at, analyze, and make recommendations to improve internal financial reporting and cost / cash management
QUALIFICATIONS
* Fluent in Arabic and English.
