Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Senior Economist, we'll count on you to:
* Direct, plan and design research to aid in interpretation of and solution of complex problems with economic relationships
* Conduct economic modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and risk or financial analysis
* Study economic and statistical data in area of specialization
* Devise methods and procedures for collecting and processing data, utilizing knowledge of available sources of data and various econometric and sampling techniques
* Formulate recommendations, policies or plans to aid in market interpretation or solution of economic issues
* Take responsibility for marketing economic consulting services
* Plan and develop project activities with significant impact as needed
* Plan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and support staff as needed
* Work at local project sites and have regular client contact as needed
* Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree in Economics
* Minimum of 10 years experience including staff management and development, client interaction and proposal writing
* Experience in Excel, Limdep, SAS, SPSS, Eviews and MS Access
* VB programming experience is a plus
* Ability to interact with clients on a regular basis
* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
