At least 8-10 years in case of M.Sc and 10-15 years in case of
B.Sc. Must have experience in directing RC Concrete and
Asphalt distress investigation and/or forensic engineering.
Have good understanding of materials characterization and have
conducted distress studies independently. Also conducted mix
design of concrete, hot mix asphalt, soil modification and
development of laboratory testing & supervision plan, data
analysis and data reduction, giving recommendations, writing lab
test reports and coordination with the client. Well versed with
ASTM, AASHTO, BS and DIN Standards. Carried out training
programs for materials engineering projects.
Duties:
Directing laboratory operations, distress studies of RC Concrete
and Asphalt structures.
Responsible for service and management
initiatives including budget and financial controls, staff relation &
development, total quality management and project management.
Provide technical inputs on materials characterization.
Responsible for the overall supervision of staff and projects.
Responsible for invoice submission/collection.
Skills and qualities: Good computer skills and able to run various software
for
analyses
Good understanding of financial analysis including profit/loss,
cost/benefit and breakeven analyses
Good in developing relationship with clients
Have clear understanding of the market trend
Good in developing business line strategy
Good understanding of HSEMS system
Good understanding of QMS system
Good standard of written and oral English
Productivity and able to make presentation
Produces good quality deliverables
Reliability
Good timekeeping
Flexible attitude to work
Well disciplined
