Your Profile
* Bachelor 's degree in Materials, Chemical or Industrial Engineering / Laboratory Technician Diploma / Lab Technical Certification from a reputable college or university
* At least ‎2 years industry experience in a lab environment is highly appreciated
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
* Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective manner with minimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks
* Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time critical situations
* Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups
* Proven integrity and high personal standards of behaviour
* Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
* Excellent command of English
* Familiarity in MS Office suite
Your Responsibilities
* Conduct metallographic analysis and prepare tests reports.
* Supports coating staff by maintaining logs and record books, troubleshooting and resolving problems and helping with production and qualification projects.
* Keeps laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders and verifying receipt.
* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs.
* Documents information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
* Participates in quality problem solving by examining and evaluating data and selecting corrective steps.
* Completes projects/jobs by assisting production team and attending and participating in group and project meetings.
* Updates job knowledge by reading technical publications.
* Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Technical skills :
* Familiarity with a lab environment and equipment
* Familiarity with preparation of samples for analysis
* Metallographic lab testing knowledge
* Equipment calibration
* Quality report elaboration for the required tests
