Provides proactive analysis and recommendations for handling, control, and
communication for all international container shipments moving to/from all
port and rail areas.
* Provides analytical assessment of day-to-day issues, as well as strategic opportunities for improvement with the customer, and makes recommendations to create cost efficiency savings.
* Develops allocation plans to optimise constrained availability against prioritised demands.
* Provides oversight as key drayage account analyst in relation to electronic trading partners and operational execution management.
* Generates regular and ad hoc reporting.
* Drives resolution of weekly exceptions to ensure rapid decision-making and timely execution.
* Has responsibility for standardising operations processes and preparing for/implementing processes and policies, and working in a close relationship with internal leaders within the company.
* Collaborates with external service providers to troubleshoot and ensure the smooth flow of cargo.
