Production Engineer (Open for Saudi Nationals Only)
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Under direct supervision of department manager, monitoring and operating production lines and lead a team of captains, operators and workers.
* As an Engineer you will ensures extrusion lines are set up properly to specific job specifications.
* Ensures proper line speed is maintained 5S during the production run, and responsible for cleanliness of machine & production floor area.
* Responsible of Setting up equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements.
* Performing quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.
* Following all safety guidelines.
* Training and assisting other employees as necessary.
* Following verbal and written instructions and maintains accurate records.
* Other duties as required or assigned by the line manager.
Skills
Position Technical Knowledge & Requirement:
* Hold Degree in Polymer or Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
* Have at least 5 years manufacturing experience in Plastics Manufacturing, preferably in HDPE PIPE extrusion.
* Have good knowledge of plastic materials, production & troubleshooting.
* Be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
* Good communication skills in written and verbal English
* Able to lead a team of Supervisors, Captains, operators and workers.
* Be able to read and interpret routine instructions.
* Have good communication skills, and team player.
* Ability to have a flexible work schedule, including working overtime and weekends as needed
* Able to Operates forklift, Optional.
