DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Senior Accountant in Dammam. In
this specific position you will have to Ensures that the clearance Analyze and
implement Accounting and General Ledger (GL) plans and objectives to prepare
financial statements in line with GL strategy, Group policy, internal and
external accounting principles, regulations, and compliance requirements

In this Senior Accountant position
* You will analyze and implement Accounting and General Ledger (GL) plans and objectives as per defined guidelines and processes
* You will have to prioritize and deliver Accounting / GL processes and activities such as reconciling outstanding account balances, maintenance of accurate records and control reports, etc.
* You will deploy best practices to achieve service delivery for own assigned area in line with required standards, targets, and schedules.
* You will conduct day to day administration of activities for detailed financial analysis of operating results and proposed activities to aid management decision making.
* You will guide other team members to resolve day to day issues in service delivery such as complex reconciliations.
* You will perform accounting services for a number of countries with medium to high complexity to enhance financial data quality, achieve compliance and manage risk appropriately.
* You will ensure the preparation of financial statements as per accounting guidelines and timely implementation of changes to conform to relevant financial standards.
* You will have to ensure accuracy, timelines and the general integrity of the accounting function and related reports.
* You will have to provide consulting on accounting matters, and analysis for senior managers.
* You will resolve medium complexity and more difficult accounting issues such as consolidation issues or segment reporting.
* You will have to prepare and review P &L and balance sheet analysis that supports notes and management commentary in the statutory financial accounts and reports
* You will have to convey others to support reporting and reconciliation tasks
* You will have to analyze extensively all issues and recommend proposals for service improvements to deliver higher quality and/or lower cost
* You will analyze accounting activities to identify trends and areas for improvement and implement enhancements.
* You will have to deliver accounting initiatives and projects in line with accounting principles, financial policies, controlling guidelines, Group standards and legal requirements

• Minimum ‎5-‎6 years of experience.


• Ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures.


• Basic understanding of custom clearance procedures


• Computer processing and system / data entry orientation, with various PC software.


• Hazardous Material familiarization.
