DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Translator in Dammam. In this
role, the successful candidate is responsible to support administration of
customs and trade compliance activities to provide clearance of freight
documentation through the relevant customs authorities in line with business
strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines, and policies.

In this Translator position

• Provide administrative support for import/ export documentation.


• Execute translation of commercial invoices.


• Assist in building and maintaining customer relationships.


• HS Coding classification.


• Documentation review.


• Draft all correspondence related to logistics (in English and local languages) including letters to vendors, insurance claims, and replacement of damage goods as required.


• Checking and updating import requirements


• Track performance targets, update shipment information and physical status


• Follow up with the shipping lines.


• Resolve recurring issues faced during delivery as per defined processes, systems and methods.


• 
  

  Research, identify and obtain the permits, licenses, and certificates required for customs clearance and general customs formalities.
  
  Now, here 's what we need from you

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of ‎5 years of experience.

  
  


• HS Coding certified - Preferable.


• Deep knowledge of forwarding business.


• Strong analytical skills and good communication skills.


• Strong problem-solving mentality.


• Required - experience of working with Saudi customs.


• Required - good knowledge of market.


• Good command of English and Arabic.
