- We’re looking for an Entry Level Accountant to join our team. The ideal
candidate will have a strong interest in accounting and finance, and will be
able to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties:
- Implement, maintain, and evaluate financial systems, including general
ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and other
accounting processes
- Assist in financial analysis and decision making
- Maintain financial data records
- Prepare spreadsheets and reports using accounting software
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Prepare journal entries
- Research and resolve accounting issues
- Maintain confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the general ledger, accounts payable, payroll,
inventory, and cash management teams
- Calculate inventory corrections, assist purchasing with purchase orders,
supply reconciliation, and reclassify items for accurate reporting
- Record journal entries, prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, and
process payroll preparation
- Assist in monthly and quarterly closing procedures
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements and process bank deposits
- Coordinate and assist with audits as needed
- Process accounts payable invoices and process vendor payments
- Process payroll for full time staff
- Process payroll for part-time and temporary staff
