Main objective:
Ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and optimum
stock levels for smooth production continuity.
Communicate with all stakeholder in the upstream direction.
BOM management through controlling the engineering change process &
Identifying product attributes.
Report frequently to management the status of parts availability, showing
foreseen risks and countermeasures to achieve the production plan.
Main Responsibilities:
Schedule the supply of CKD/UCKD orders to meet production plan requirements.
Supervise on the availability of all important materials from overseas
supplier.
Supervise direct parts stock monitoring on SAP to make balance orders if
needed
Deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production
requirements.
Ensure availability of all kind of materials (local, material & overseas) as
a window person to the production planning team.
Daily follow up on pipeline orders and port stock to make sure it will arrive
on required date as schedule plan.
Provides Lead Time (LT) analysis and recommends forecasted material ordering
based on plans to ensure timely availability of material requirements.
Conducts and improves forecasting activities and methods in order to maintain
effective inventory level.
Take ownership of material planning issues that arise, including over or under
delivery and take any follow up actions especially in the event of material
shortages that affect production.
Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for
materials is met and deliveries made on time.
Develop and implement processes and work with suppliers on continuous
improvement initiatives.
Assure FIFO application with no obsolete parts.
Coordinate with Finance to ensure on time payments for all imported shipments.
Coordinate with logistics to ensure on time delivery for all imported
shipments.
Resolve supplier concerns and evaluate supplier performance in conjunction
with members of the purchasing team.
Support assessment and sourcing of suppliers in conjunction with members of
the purchasing team.
Supervise design noted process flow and make sure all the DN are implemented
on time from each ILN-Parts arrangement.
Follow up issuance of 4M with the exact CUT OF CHASSIS# until part adoption on
production line placed.
Supervise on high-risk issue, follow up and prepare reports to top management.
Qualifications & relevant experience:
Bachelor of Science in relevant fields Engineering / Supply Chain / Project
management.
5+ Years’ experience in the same field.
Fluency in English.
SAP knowledge is Plus.
