Purposes:
The Workshop Supervisor Engineer will take complete responsibility for
workshop jobs. This includes inspecting, dismantling, repairing, assembling,
and testing engines, spare parts, and assemblies. Along with leading and
managing a team of technicians.
Roles & Responsibilities :
* Prepare a monthly maintenance schedule ensuring timely delivery for all planned jobs at the required quality level as per the technical standards and specifications required
* Apply and ensure compliance of the Workshop team to Health and Safety procedures and standards
* Lead and motivate team of technicians to carry out maintenance tasks
* Act as a technical advisor to the complex problems occurring during maintenance operations
* Avoid unnecessary replacement of spare parts
* Inspect & test after repairs are performed
* Prepare and analyze the Group Productivity Report, highlighting monthly maintenance activities (i.e. of repairs, recurring technical problems, etc.), provide recommendations for corrective actions when needed
* Set the yearly plan for the workshop tools and equipment
* Participate in preparing the yearly operating expenses of his function by, providing input to the Workshop
Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering
* From 5 to 7 years of experience
* Good practical engineering background
* Good English proficiency
* Ability to apply engineering knowledge for new projects
* Positive approach towards customers
