Scope of the Job*
Ensure * fully adherence to Egyptian legislation, Heineken and other SHE
standards and requirements. Follow up compliance with ABC SHE policies and
procedures and implementation of occupational health and Environmental
management systems to meet set objectives and targets.
Job Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities:
Describe the main responsibilities the jobholder is required to fulfill
within the function arranged by most time consuming.
* Provide training and awareness to improve compliance with Safety and Environment local legislation, Heineken standards and other requirements
* Generate individual plant procedures, work instructions -if needed- to ensure compliance with SHE standards and requirements
* Support hazards identification/risk assessment evaluation for different activities within plant and support production team's activities
* Conduct daily tours and regular monthly inspections to plant
* Evaluate Safety and Environment performance in plant and highlight gaps, areas for improvement and suggestions for improvement to area managers/OpCo SHE Manager
* Lead plant TPM Safety pillar, responsible for accidents and risks reductions and performance improvement
* Participate in new project meetings and recommend on Safety and Environmental issue regarding machinery safety and environmental pollution protection
* Act as SHE committee reporter - follow up recommendation compilation
* Liaise with External authority such as Labor office - Industrial safety, Environmental affairs, Civil defense and Health insurance authorities
* Participate in submitting regular and annual reports to authorities and Mother Company
* Share in investigating/analyzing serious accidents in order to identify immediate/root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions, follow implementation and sustain improvement
* Follow up personal protective Equipment availability, operability of portable Firefighting Extinguishers/hydrant and automatic fire alarm systems
* Keep all accident and incident records as legal and Heineken requirements
* Suggest projects for safety/Environment annual improvement and gain plant management approval
* Follow up contractors activities; ensure safe systems of work are implemented
Leadership Responsibilities:
* Deal with different cultures and backgrounds in order to improve / correct their attitude regarding safety
* Escalate to plant manager/ line management safety and Environmental observation, areas for improvement and recommendation for improvements.
* Paid all efforts to ensure continual Safety and Environmental compliance and performance continual improvements
Functional Authority:
* Reporting to plants management Safety and Environment Performance and suggest project for improvements
* Inspect and accept personal protective equipment/ firefighting extinguishers , equipment and tools
* Generate plant safe systems of work
* Suggestion for disciplinary action
