MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To ensure the safe, secure and punctual turnaround process of the aircraft for
on time departure It is the TCO 's responsibility to act as the "owner" of the
turnaround ensuring that all of the documented processes are aligned with PTS
(Precision Time Stamp), along with all of the other relevant processes. The
TCO will oversee services provided below wing by 3rd parties and internal
stake holders. The TCO will act to resolve issues arising during the
turnaround communicating directly with operating crew and departments
responsible for creating or implementing appropriate solutions. The TCO will
regularly communicate with operating crew and NCC (Network Control Centre)
updating them on operational events impacting their flight.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
‎1. Acts as a champion for all safety and security measures required around
people, equipment and facilities during the turnaround, highlighting areas for
improvement and gaps in performance.
‎2. Supervises and Co-ordinates the aircraft turnaround, owning the process
and liaising with operational partners and other stakeholders to manage
factors which may cause disruption.
‎3. Acts as a central point of contact for addressing issues and solving
problems that may arise during the turnarounds. Be proactive in identifying
potential challenges and working with relevant stakeholders to find solution
quickly.
‎4. Undertakes all appropriate checks, as specified in individual service
level agreements, to fully comply with company procedures and regulatory
guidelines.
‎5. Collates and completes all relevant data and paperwork, ensuring that all
necessary documentation is completed and issued in an appropriate and timely
manner to relevant individuals.
‎6. Ensures all required physical checks for the arrival and departure of the
flight are complete in accordance with operational procedures, focus being
compliance with GCAA and other regulations.
‎7. Acts as a primary contact point for Flight and Cabin crew to ensure
efficient and timely boarding and disembarking of all flights.
‎8. Maintains regular operational dialogue with gates, departure staff above
wing and ramp staff underwing to ensure the best practices are followed
ensuring efficient turnaround.
‎9. Ensures accurate and timely recording of any irregular events occurring
during the turnaround ensuring required reports are raised and distributed.
‎10. Works closely with operating crew in accordance with the agreed process
to action Last Minute changes at aircraft side.
‎11. Ensures all services are being delivered as per established standards and
are compliant to the agreed safety and security regulations to achieve on time
and efficient performance.
‎12. Reports on all turnaround time stamps and activities, supporting
performance improvement analysis and initiatives.
‎13. Ensures on time performance operations by recording, reporting, and
communicating time stamp data and "ready to go".
‎14. Manages all aspects related to emergency situation during the aircraft
turnaround by communicating with flight deck, cabin crew, fueller and Dubai
Airports.


Qualifications


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Minimum Education
* Bachelor 's Degree (or equivalent)


Experience Specific Requirements
* Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - ‎3
* Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) - ‎5
Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements
* Experience in Ground Handling Operations role with an airline or ground handling agency. (preferable)
* Overall knowledge of airfield ground ops as well as ramp and baggage handling processes
* Demonstrable knowledge of travel documentation and aviation regulatory matters

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports
any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information
Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows
associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
