IT Auditor

Primary Responsibilities:
IT / IS Audits:
Support the IT internal control (IT General Controls / Application Controls)
scoping and planning process (e.g., definition of approach, scope and update
application map to business processes).
Participate in walk-throughs for IT, identify and document key risks and the
related general computing controls.
Design control test steps to address key risks.
Execute test steps to assess design and operational effectiveness of key
controls, providing clear and concise testing documentation for review.
Interpret testing results and formulate conclusions based on assessment of
control deficiencies and root causes
Work with business partners to present and validate potential issues;
facilitate the development of appropriate remediation plans and timeliness

Security Audit / Cybersecurity Audit /Security Compliance Review:

Assess infrastructure controls for the technology supporting the enterprise
and will be responsible for understanding, analyzing, and testing the
technology controls including those over configuration, systems development,
security and entitlements, production management and technology governance.
Preform compliance review in accordance with ISO ‎27001 standards and Group
Policy.

IT Management

Assessing and advising on the IT Management practices an organization has in
place and helping to improve these. Mainly focused around the ITIL service
management standards this will predominantly focus on assessing the efficiency
and effectiveness of current IT support and management arrangements

Requirement

Minimum academic qualifications: Bachelor Degree holder (computer
information systems or IT related preferred)
Professional qualifications required: CISA / CISSP / CISM preferred
Minimum years of work experience: ‎5 to ‎6 years in IT Audit.
Experience in auditing interfaces, infrastructure, cloud security, cyber
security, data processing and computer general controls in Oracle / ERP
environment.
Familiarity with COBIT, ISO ‎27001, ISMS, NIST Framework

Technical knowledge of IT systems, including:
Databases
Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, Window, AS400)
Networking, including VPN, LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls and associated hardware
Cloud security
Cyber security
APIs
RPAs
Backup and Recovery systems
Middleware
Virtualization Technologies

Must demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.
A passion for technology and projects.
Strong analytical and engagement management skills.
The ability to work effectively in different teams (IT and Functional Audits)
for varying periods of time building good working relationships with both
colleagues and client personnel at all levels.
The ability to assess IT risk and suggest pragmatic risk mitigation activities
Identifying and effectively reporting any issues and recommendations for
improvement, as well as drafting the related sections of formal reports.
