1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Kings ' School Dubai Inclusion Team are looking for 1:1 LSA's to join the team
from August 2023.
This is a superb opportunity for aspiring, imaginative and inspirational
Learning Support Assistant to join an outstanding, creative, innovative and
supportive team.
The successful candidates will need to:
* Have sound knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
* Have experience of working with children who have a diagnosis of ASD and know strategies to support their learning in school.
* Be an innovative, flexible, creative, enthusiastic practitioner and be able to plan and deliver a range of interventions.
* Have an excellent understanding of phonics, in particular the Read Write Inc programme, and be confident to deliver class, group and 1:1 phonics sessions.
* Know and understand how to use a range of strategies to support learning in the classroom.
* Have an understanding of IEP's and be confident to attend parent meetings.
* Be an innovative, creative, enthusiastic practitioner.
* Be committed to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students within their care.
* Have an understanding of how to manage a range of behaviour needs.
* Be able to develop positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
* A valid UAE residence visa is a must for the position.
