The project is designed in a way how to improve the education sector through
some comprehensive training sessions to accelerate the skills and knowledge of
committee members. Rwanga Foundation is committed to implementing the GESP
program - Basic Education part that requires a coordinated and decentralized
response to meet learners' education needs and support teachers and education
staff at the governorate level. Implementing the plan to develop the education
sector requires establishing the three committees and finding ways to achieve
continuous cooperation between these committees. It also requires
strengthening partnerships between governmental and non governmental
organizations like local and international organizations to implement and
achieve its goals
Requirements
* The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating between Rwanga Foundation and GDoE as co-applicants during the implementation of the project.
* Support and build the capacity of the project
* Carry out the necessary administrative tasks related to the implementation of the project
* Assign tasks to the relevant
* work closely with project team members, managers, and leads to help deliver major organizational projects
* The Project Coordinator manages the administrative tasks, such as document and information distribution, report collation, and communication
* Assist in documenting project phases and .creating summary reports.
* Create project schedules and plans that include estimates of material
* Ensure that the project implementation is on time, schedule, and budget.
* Act as the focal point of the project for all participants.
* Arrange and attend relevant meetings related to the
* Coordinate activities, resources, equipment, and information
* Report and escalate issues to management as
* Facilitate and support the implementation of the project.
* Coordinate with the operation and PR departments for the purchase of materials and preparation of visibility.
* Archive all project documents and make sure they are kept in a safe place both hard and soft copies. Bachelor’s degree in project management or business administration field
* At least three years of working experience in/with NGO/INGO.
* Strong ability to work with diverse groups/individuals – ranging from local partners, local authorities, the humanitarian community, and the private sector.
* Proven ability in staff management, donor contracting & budget management.
* Proven experience managing and working with a diverse team to achieve results in a timely manner.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications.
* Required competencies: team player, effective communicator, successful negotiator, creative and analytical thinker, active learner, able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
* Ability to function effectively under stressful conditions such as heavy workloads, extensive travel, and deadlines.
LANGUAGES SKILLS REQUIRED*
Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic, both spoken and written, is requiredHOW TO APPLY
