Summary:
Function as a machine operator in the coating plant for the Blast, Prime,
Powder or Liquid coating station.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Function as a machine operator in the coating plant for the Blast, Prime, Powder or Liquid coating station.
* Perform Blast, Prime, Powder or Liquid coating application as per the NOV Tuboscope Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
* Verify through visual inspection that the pipes are suitable for coating.
* Perform necessary qualification tests by the use of quality control gauges to verify that the pipes meet the SOP.
* Inform the Coating Plant Foreman or his designee if any disturbance or irregularities in the production flow occurs.
* Records daily production reports, quality assurance/control reports and all necessary reports regarding operation.
* Follow all Company HSEMS, QMS, policies and procedures.
* Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Plant Manager or his designee.
Qualifications:
* Two years of experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
* Secondary education.
* Training Certificates are a plus.
* Capable of communicating in English and reading written instructions.
* 5S training is a plus.
