Masdar audit is looking to hire an Assistant Manager of Internal Audit.
As a manager, you will perform Internal Audits (mainly finance/ accounting
internal audits), follow-up audits, and risk assessments in line with Internal
Audit standards issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors, USA.
* Prepare /review RCM prior to the start of / during the fieldwork and in line with the project time plan.
* Performance of audit fieldwork and/ or supervision of audit fieldwork.
* Maintenance of audit database.
* Monitoring of service providers.
* Performance of audit follow-ups.
* Contribution to the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP)
* Risk assessment and internal audit planning exercise.
* Contribution to stakeholder relations.
* Compliance with standards and forms.
* Preparation of relevant updates and reports.
* Implementation of audit systems, policies and procedures.
* Compliance with information security policies, procedures and requirements at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related degree from an accredited college or university.
* Certification as a CIA, CPA, ACA, CFE, or CISA is an asset.
Preferred Experience:
* 8-10 years' experience in progressively more senior roles in auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation.
Job-Specific Skills:
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills leading to a consultative approach within a corporate / multifunctional environment.
* Ability to manage cross-functional teams.
* Good knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices, and management principles and preferred business practices.
* Good knowledge of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
* Good knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
