Your Mission
- is in charge of preparation & follow-up of mission of Field Service
Engineer;
* collects all needed technical document from design team, prepare or collect test procedures, follow-up of all logistic topics (secure site acces process, visa, etc...).
* assigns and monitors the FSE according to priorities and handles the preparation of the journeys involved.
* is responsible For communication between FSE on site and the rest of Project Team and communication with general contractor/customer with strong collaboration with Project Manager
* ensure consistency in site acctivities across same type of sites in terms of methods, tools and processes

Management of Installation & Commisioning activities for projects:
* In accordance with the requests from Project Manager and under the supervision of the Site Works Manager, he coordinates the human ressources and equipment required for the commisioning activities to be carried out on Schneider Electric's various projects at RAC level.
* Depending on the priorities and the profiles sought, he also uses the services of service providers.
* He is responsible for preparing the test engineers' journeys to ensure optimal responsiveness to needs.
* If applicable, he solves the technical problems encountered by the engineers on site.
Site activities and planning preparation:
* prepares all site activities before site start (minimum ‎1 month before).
* prepares the work estimates (for supervision of installation & commisioning) based on the PM's requests and hypotheses by estimating the amount of time and ressources required for the work.
* prepares accordingly a budget and planning for site activities.
Site safety plans:
* ensures that the Safety plans are prepared and sent to the SW HSE manager.
Preparation of tools for site activities:
* defines, prepare, deliver on site in due time, all needed tools for installation & commisioning activities.
* responsabile of the good follow-up of this tools, as per Site Works Dept procedure.
Introduction of documents and tools for site activities:
* puts in place all needed tools/files to follow progress on site and define how to use it with support of PM (event tracker, KPI, delivery tracking, time sheet templates, doc follow up file)
* define the Site organization needed for all activities;
* list all the output documents required by FSE to perform installation & commisioning activities and add it inside the document list follow up with support of the doc manager (test scripts, ITP, warranty letters, I&‎0 list, OPC file etc..).
Ensure compliance of resources with country of destination rules:
* before site activity starts, updates the HR planning and prepare 1st site resource mission start: (Work permit, A1 certificate, Limosa, Dimona, VCA, etc..) to ensure compliance of our activities with local laws
Definition and booking of required resources:
* selects and book resources, as per skills required on site, with local SE entity and/or external providers. He sents notification of works to external resource provider.
Coordination of site activities:
* creates and follow, in coordination with project's expeditor;
* the punch list follow up file for all IG or OG suppliers : Manufacturer or Integrators.
* ensure that all well communicate the last punch list version before starting of site activities.
* is in a contact with factories (phone/mail) for any missing part, issue + inform PM and TL.
* provides the Project Manager or Site Works Manager / Coordinator with site activities related risks and propose corrective plans & actions.
Review and Reporting:
* in charge to prepare and regulary review (min. once a week) records in event tracker file to closely follow-up the impact of works not performed as scheduled, and support the PM
to present variation order or claim file to customer or supplier any time
needed.
* ensures that activity reports ( daily/weekly or monthly) are written and drawings updated and that they are submitted to the PM/TL for preparation of As built documents;
* ensures that all FSE update their time sheets, get the signature, and after his control, upload it on the BOX once a week with target to get all for review with PM any end of month (‎25);
* collects once a month min. the month expenditures on site (travel, accommodation) and place it inside a synthetic excel table, per person, per month.
* review with the PM the budget ( actual & forecast) for site hours activities;
Follow-up on non-quality issues:
* is in charge of transfer and follow-up of non quality issue raised during instalaltion & commisioning activities (asp er CHX process) to concerned suppliers or quality dept in charge
Communication:
* attends meetings with customer dedicated to organisation & follow-up of on-site activities (HSE topics, co-activity, detailled planning for commisioning, interface with other parties for scope of supply or service etc..)
* attends all regular meeting of Project team to share progress of site activities, escalate risks & opportunities coming from site, get align with strategy of PM & Contract Manager, get all need data from Purchaser & logistic person.
Return of experience:
* prepare REX / Lessons Learned file for the commisioning part.


**Qualifications



About You**
Education: Bachlor degree in Electrical Engineering
Language: Fluent English - French (recommended) or other language is advantage
Experience : Five (‎5) years of experience in on-site electromechanical testing
Skils:
* Knowledge of all types of MV/LV equipments, Data Center Application, Electrical networks
* Knowledge of System Integration applications and Building Management Systems (BMS) is advantage
* Standard office software: Word, Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD; SAP
Based in Egypt and able to travel internationally for ‎75% of working time
(MEA)
