What you will be doing:
Rolls-Royce Saudi Arabia Limited (RRSAL) is providing a support service to the
Royal Saudi Air Force for its fleet of Typhoon Aircraft EJ200 engines. The
role will be based at King Fahad Air Base (KFdAB), Western Province, Saudi
Arabia.
The Asset Controller will report to the Operations Manager and provide a
Supply Chain Support Service in support of EJ200 engine repair.
Key Accountabilities
* On site Inventory and Stock Control in accordance with Rolls-Royce policy and procedure.
* Consumption monitoring to ensure accuracy of asset usage recording and reporting
* Forecasting any changes in consumption accounting for Partner Company repair policy,.
* Stocking policy/service stock to support committed Customer Service Levels in line with the forecast to protect the contract obligations including in country repair Suppliers.
* Adaptation of usage monitoring and forecasting to reflect the introduction of changes to the in-country engine repair work scope.
* Spare ordering and tracking on to Rolls-Royce using agreed procurement process.
* Update of RSAF / BAESSA to ensure the Customer GOLDesp. system reflect latest part numbers required to support the Engine maintenance.
* Co-ordination of asset requirement to support the introduction of in country engine modification embodiment in support of the modification embodiment programme.
* Asset tracking and reporting including off site calibration items, movements to and from Rolls-Royce and other suppliers.
* Preparation and Co-ordination of documentation and on Base receipt and dispatch for each asset movement.
* Co-ordination of each asset movement with RRSAL logistics providers.
* Ensure robust transportation plans that facilitate satisfactory transfer of equipment through the management of the RRSAL logistics providers performance.
* Ensure Export Control measures are in accordance with Rolls-Royce Defence policy.
* Repair and disposal of equipment and assets in line with the contract requirements / policy.
* Managing the day-to-day relationship between Rolls Royce and its Supplier representatives.
* Responsible for managing new and critical repair parts and escalating as appropriate.
* Weekly / monthly reporting on the logistics / spare availability status.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:
Qualifications
* Experience of Parts Stores planning and control,
* Experience with SAP systems
* Experience of Supply Chain Units and Customer Facing Business Units.
* Engineering / Operations, Logistics / Purchase Experience.
* Has a wide cross organisational outlook and exposure to different cultures and ways of working.
* Technical and working knowledge of Rolls-Royce products
