A Sterilization Specialist is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the
medical and surgical tools used in hospitals to avoid spreading of germs and
infection.
Accountabilities
* Decontamination of surgical and medical instruments.
* Decontaminate operating areas and set up equipment for surgical procedures.
* Ensure hospitals comply with regulations, and work to protect their patients from any infection.
* Assembling medical equipment.
* Testing and performing quality control checks routinely to make sure that it's running properly.
* Performing equipment inventory and restock supplies when needed.
* Maintaining accurate sterilization records.
* Keeping tools organized, sorting mismatched sets of instruments and making them available for physicians in a timely manner.
The employee's duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities.
The manager can assign other duties based on the business need.

Job Requirements
Education
* Bachelor's degree in related specialization (chemistry, microbiology, biology, biochemistry)
* Professional Accreditation Certificate authorized from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
