Responsibilities:
JOB Summary


The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business
objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The
position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added
service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of
the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy
about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture
and its competition providing comprehensive, pragmatic, and customer focused
HR support and advice to employees, and managers to work within appropriate
corporate human resources and directorate strategies, and plans to provide a
quick, accurate professional HR support to staff and managers of the
corporate, financial, environmental services, and performance directorates and
planning economy.

ACCOUNTABILITIES



  • To manage and maintain a professional level of service to all staff which ensures the objectives of the Human Resources function is achieved and Make sound proposals for the continual improvement of working practice.

  • Adhere to Safety & Quality procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system

  • Identifies trends/issues that require resolution and involves appropriate resources. Supports organizational effectiveness function through team building and goal/role clarification. Works in conjunction with management and provides advice as to the best HR management practices to support business objectives and cascading Company core values.

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.

  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

  • Handling and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.

  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning.

  • Performs professional work in coordinating, directing and supervising human resources services functions in the such areas as recruitment, selection, corrective actions and disciplinary activities and performs other assignments as required such as in the area of implementing and maintaining Human Resources Information Systems.

  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

  • Handling the merit cycle program and working closely with managers to make sure that project completed with best practice in line with company budget.

  • Assists as required to collect the manpower plan from Line Managers to create the year workforce plan.

  • Develops and implements recruitment and selection tools, screens applicants resume, schedules interviews & administers screening tools and writes assessment report with hiring recommendation.

  • Check's applicant references, recommends salary range based on company salary scale and issues offer letters for new hires.

  • Plans, conducts new orientation program to foster positive attitude toward Company goals, administers and explains benefits to employees

  • Handling and processes all HRIS actions, includes but not limited to, creates employee record through hiring GPA, transfers, promotes, terminates employees record in addition to creating positions using correct org structure as required.

  • Ensuring date accuracy and necessary updates took place through, regular verification and maintaining any pay changes.

  • Advises employees of their pay changes and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits.

  • Issues contracts. to fulfill legal contractual requirement.

  • Prepares employee separation notices and related legal documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reason behind resignation/termination and notifies employee with severance details if applicable.

  • Answers routine questions from employees and applicants about employment procedures and policies, benefits and other HR-related topics

  • Support line Manager, drafts and maintains job description as requested

  • Implement current HR policies as recommend updates when required by changes in the law or to improve the work practice.

  • Communicates with other employees, departments, administrators, applicants and the public for the purpose of providing information and assistance concerning employment, recruitment, transfers, personnel records, and leaves, licenses and related legal requirements.

  • Develops a wide variety of written materials (e.g. letters, forms, procedures, brochures, pamphlets, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information.

  • Follow up mandatory Projects/Tasks to assure busines unit on track (e.g Career Progression - Objective Siting - Performance Appraisal - COI - Quarter Discussion among with stakeholders.

  • Participating with Corporate events One Weathered Day and Other events assigned

  • Performs other project related duties as assigned


Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
* HR experience within the Oil & Gas sector
* Knowledge of the Kuwait business, employment laws and policies
* Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office tools
* Experience of Employee Relations, Employment Engagement and Change Management
* Confident decision maker and have the ability to challenge managers when required


QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum ‎3-‎7 years related experience with University/College
