Job Description
*
Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces.
* Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction.
* Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment.
* Must be able to compute chemical usage.
* Standing up and moving about in the kitchen or other designated areas, handling objects, products, chemicals, cleaning supplies and utensils.
* A working knowledge of equipment and associated chemicals.
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene.
* Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
* High school education certificate.
* Organized and a great team player.
* Previous experience as kitchen steward, preferably with hotels or restaurants.
