Localization Programs Strategical Coordinator, Al-Khobar

Your responsibilities

• Lead and participates in local content compliance audits/reviews and prepares documentation in accordance with localization customer programs, Audit procedures and standards. Document findings and assist in compliance as well as report preparation. Communicates audit/review results to the local Division Manager 's team and/or Region/Country Manager's team.


• Coordinate and drive the sign off actions with all divisions to increase the local content of ABB legal entities with the business units and functions. Participate as a lead of the local content program to support the business unit teams on developing the framework/guidelines (practice) for a defined local business processes.


• Lead and communication with customers for all the inquires related to the localization programs, responsible for all surveys of local content and driving the action's plan to improve the localization KPIs.


• Drive and ensure localization performance on assigned division's projects by preparing financial analysis reports to provide recommendations for financial decisions, to achieve the main objectives of the localization KPIs. Monitor and Follow-up the implementation of agreed actions and report progress. Provide monthly/quarterly reports on the performance of the company/division


• Coordinates regular project reviews and monitors ongoing localization projects status. Oversees accurate preparation of the financial localization programs, planning and ensures alignment and compliance with overall projects plan. Evaluate financial implications of various decisions and recommends actions. Advices and guide the businesses to ensures compliance with local content programs as per the country standards and regulations.


• Contributes to local Business Unit localization strategy definition and execution through the analysis and identification of new markets, segments and/or product solutions. Analyzes customer needs for the portfolio, securing customer advantages and benefits as well as white spot analysis and connected strategies to penetrate the market.


• Provides market intelligence analyses in support of identification and development of customers & competitions on localization programs status. Participates in internal work groups to share know-how, processes, and market information. Participates in planning and implementation of customer events and trade shows.


• Develops, implements, and improves relevant processes, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness within area of accountability. Ensures local procedures align with ABB Group and in line with the local content programs policies, processes, and procedures.


• Lead the prequalification with customers due to merge/acquisition and coordinate with all departments internally for all the needed material. Coordinate all actions related to novation of orders due to mergers or acquisitions. Identifies, leads, or contributes to identification and acquisition and partnership opportunities to expand into the newly defined area.

Your background

• Ideally, you'll hold a Degree in college with at least either Business Administration in Finance or in Commerce, etc.


• Minimum ‎5 years of experience in Industrial organizations. Leadership skills and fluent in Arabic & English.


• Good knowledge on local content programs


• Knowledge on SAP & Microsoft offices
