Summary
The Social Media and Technology Coordinator is a key member of a dynamic team
serving the office of American School Dhahran. The position is primarily
responsible for managing ASD technology & social media and maintaining a close
working relationship with ISG Technology Department.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will be able to effectively:
* Demonstrate commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection)
* Provide administrative assistant support to the Principal and Assistant Principals
* Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of ISG Technology department policies, practices and procedures
* Manage students family school accounts
* Manage technology budget
* Manage technology inventory
* Manage software subscriptions
* Help staff and students with technology queries
* Liaise with ISG technology helpdesk
* Manage staff and student printing account
* Manage ASD social media accounts
* Manage ASD website
* Manage ASD Bulletin
* Be part of safety and emergency team
* Take initiative in prioritizing tasks to ensure deadlines are met and the overall administrative function of the school runs smoothly
* Respond to urgent requests
* Exercise reasonable judgments
* Maintain communication and working relationship with all stakeholders
* Provide customer service , meet informational needs of ASD stakeholders (staff, students, parents and ISG personnel)
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal and the Assistant Principals
Qualifications and Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computing or information technology
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of the use of technology, social media, and website
Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience
* Experience in technology and social media coordinator roles (preferred)
