Summary
The Registrar is part of a small dynamic team staffing the Finance Department.
The Registrar position is responsible for tracking and monitoring all
application fees and coordinates payments with new applicants in the
admissions system. Reports delays in payments, conflicts, and other areas of
concern to the manager. Prepares receipts and reconciles the bank for tuition
payments. Works with a team to achieve accurate reporting and collection.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will be able to effectively:
* Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection)
* Daily processing of receipts
* Daily bank reconciliation (Tuition)
* Answering emails to parents and providing them with statements of accounts and amount to be paid
* Following with the bank regarding unidentified payments
* Handling application fees booking
* Following on unpaid amounts
Qualifications and Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
Experience and Skills

* Previous experience working in a school is an advantage

* Knowledge of Excel and Google sheets
* Ability to communicate and liaise effectively
* Good communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work in a self-directed and proactive manner, and under direction, according to need
