Summary
We are looking for a substitute teacher who will be a key member of Sara
Village School.
The position is primarily responsible for managing and delivering lessons
according to the lesson plans developed by the regular teachers, in the
absence of the regular teachers.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will be able to effectively:
* Demonstrate commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection)
* Deliver lessons to students as outlined in lesson plans developed by regular teachers
* Motivate students to learn and participate in the classroom during lessons
* Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities
* Attend staff meetings if required
* Supervise students outside classrooms if required
* Coordinate with SVS KS1 and KS2 Leaders for SVS classroom expectations
* Coordinate with SVS Principal for SVS emergency protocol
* Maintain a safe learning environment for students and staff at all times
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or the Assistant Principals
