Responsibilities:
* Solicit quotations.
* Check consumptions and prices.
* Purchase order entry into the system as per the procedure.
* Follow up for purchase order approval.
* Process the orders with supplier timely.
* Follow up with suppliers for order acknowledgement.
* Follow up with suppliers for on time delivery.
* Comply with all applicable WFT policies, be punctual with office work hours and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
* Neatly maintain procurement records (including past due orders, open PO, GIT) and must be able provide PL-wise weekly & monthly summary of the activities.
* Promptly report ambiguities / non conformances
Qualifications:
* Buying experience with raw materials and machine parts.
* Familiarization with manufacturing and service environment.
* Ability to work as part of cross-functional team
* Excellent purchasing and negotiation skills.
* Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with internal and external customers to insure positive results.
* Basic knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Basic Knowledge of billing practices and controls.
* Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to effectively work with employees, supervisors, vendors and customers.
* General computer knowledge including the use the Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of JD Edwards in addition is preferred.
* Minimum of ‎0-‎1 years of related billing, accounting or purchasing experience
* College/University Degree qualified
